“I am an artist, writer, and advocate based in Oconee County, SC whose creative work is deeply rooted in trauma, grief, resilience, and the complex experiences that shape healing and identity, Through art, writing, and community-centered projects, I strive to create spaces that help people feel seen, understood, and less alone in their experiences.
I am a certified Victim's Advocate through NOVA (National Organization for Victim Advocacy https://trynova.org/ ) and hold Mental Health First Aid certification through The National Council for Mental Wellbeing. https://mentalhealthfirstaid.org/ These credentials, combined with my personal and creative work, have strengthened my commitment to compassionate support, emotional safety, and healing-centered connection.
I feel called to serve on the Board of Directors for Rebecca's Light and The Healing Circle Program because I believe accessible, community-based support can be life-changing. In communities like ours, these resources are not only deeply needed but essential in helping our friends, family, and neighbors feel seen, supported, and safe enough to begin healing.
My desire to serve is rooted in both advocacy and lived understanding. Through my creative work, I have come to believe that healing begins not only with support but with the courage to destigmatize the experiences so many silently carry. For me, this opportunity is both deeply personal and profoundly purposeful.
